1.    Heavy rains in Bangalore may cause inundation in low laying areas and result in traffic jams/ slow movement of vehicles. Plan your travel accordingly and keep a buffer to reach destination.

2.    Vehicles parked under trees are likely to get damaged due to gusty winds and heavy rains. You are advised to park personal vehicles away from trees/ overhanging branches.

3.    Avoid driving in the rain particularly if driving a two-wheeler.

4.   Do not venture into roads which are flooded.
