New Bed mattress (bäddmadrass)

 Amazon.in saves me again, more about Amazon in another post ;)

However today I got my new bed mattress as there actually was none when I moved in. I asked the guy who introduced me to this apartment about the bed mattress and he said that ... something, do not remember ... he might just not have understood me or what I meant!?!? The guy was really great, fun, easy to do with and spook very good english so perhaps a bed mattress is not used so often in India, I do not know.

Here is my new one anyways and I have already tested it and the bed is now super nice and soft, can't wait until tonight 💤💤💤👌

It is a single mattress as can be seen in the picture above. I am single so why pay for more ? 😇

I think bed is queen size, as you easily can sleep two persons in it.

I also realised if I ever got a visitor, perhaps from Sweden, I now have a spare mattress that can be used on the floor if the sofa is not good enough.

Too damn hot

 Took a break and a coffee, tried enjoying it on the balcony… impossible mission.

Too hooooot!!!

According to my Apple watch it is 33 degrees Celcius, I wonder how hot it actually is on balcony!?!?!

Goals achieved

 This Sunday 26 March 2022 I achieved a goal earlier than planned and also today(Monday morning)I increased the the stakes and achieved much more. So progress is great.

- So what is the goal and what have I achieved ?

 Well as I for some time did not have a membership here at the community and I was not able to use the Gym and other facilities so I got into the stairs training instead.

I set a goal to be able to walk the stairs up from ground floor to the top floor of 20th and do it tree times in a row. 

1. 1->20, tough

2. 1->20, better

3. 1-20, hard

And that's what I have achieved now, some might say: 

- that's nothing!

- that's easy!

Well for you it might be so but this was my goal and I did it ;-)

Backpack on and soaking wet with sweat.

Backpack with extra kilos, towel is to make it more comfortable to have the water bottles in the

backpack and it will add some weight to it as well.

***This workout is also to prepare for my upcoming adventure within 3 weeks time, blog post will come on that as well.

Parcels from Sweden

I got amy airfreight this friday. My stuff from Sweden via à flight from Stockholm. 3 parcels, 2 boxes with misc. stuff such as clothes, shoes , cables, … 1 box with my LG 34” super widescreen monitor.

The delivery guy needed to npack it so I could see that it all was OK

My monitor and PS4 where both fine.

Nice guy but speak english good not ...sorry!? ... what? .... say ahain!? 

Got it back ... puh nice!

Walk to Phoenix Mall

 A couple of days ago I did a walk to Phoenix mall, not for shopping just for the walk and to make a video.

Here is the part that is about walking to Phoenix mall it takes between 10-15 minutes to walk there depending on traffic and obstacles on the sidewalk ;-) and this video is about 10 minutes long.

A video of the walk back will come soon, walk is on the other side with more people and stuff ...

Healthy food!?

 As I not so fimilar with Indien groceries and have a kind of difficult time finding what I want. I still survive and enjoy the meal I cook. Most often very simple but I do not mind at all.

Simple and healthy ... except the weekly chips ;-)

Ratnadeep supermarket at lunch time ... hot hot hot

 I needed some more fooooood, as I am running out of it.

This shopping walk today is actually a planned one, but I did not expect the heat to be so intense. It is still only 31 degrees and that not especially hot but today it was no wind at all, perhaps that made it feel hotter than usual!?!?

However I am not complaining, as this is one of the plentiful of reasons I have of being here ;)

My favorite supermarket ... well it is the only I know of worth shopping in.

Prices are never on the shelves it always on the back of the package it self and in very small letters :(

After the air conditioned supermarket it is time to head back to the apartment via the chaotic streets of Bangalore and the heat ;)

One of my balconies

 I just wanna share(document) my small balcony, I have one more, which is larger and is a glassed balcony and I will share it as well later on.

This balcony can be entered via the bedroom and is mainly used for getting some air (smoggy air), having a look around the area, listening to Bangalore and some sunbathing when time allows(and weather).

I am 'updating' the balcony with some thing so another post will come showing that ;-)

There was a thunderstorm this weekend and the rain just made it worse, I had to clean the balcony with water and some detergent, this is actually before the rain.

Air conditioner unit and some bromes, fire extinguisher.

My hanging rack for drying clothes.

I had to fix it as the rope was old and broken so I replaced it with a new line instead that will do the job as I am here, perhaps longer as the line is much thinner than the old one.

Lowest point of the 'rack', I copied the old rope 'point' onto my new line so it matched the length, work perfectly fine.

Door safety mechanism

 There are lots of safety mechanims on my apartment door, I cannot start wondering why and is it an unsafe place that l have gotten for this work assignment in Bangalore, India???

The scary one is l can be locked in?

What is this all about???

Update: it is a massive door and guess it weighs a lot.

I do not feel unsafe ;-)

Walk thru the Brigade Metropolis area

 I did video shoot the walk thru to the main gate at Brigade Metropolis this noon as I having a walk to Phoenix mall to see if there are any Holi celebrations (Festival of colors in Bangalore 2022) around this nearby area.

Walking from downstairs, reception area to the main gate takes about 3 minutes.

Banana pancake breakfast

 I had 2 bananas, kind of being a little too ripen, so with 6 small chicken eggs I made a banana pancake and put it in the microwave and 'grilled' it too perfection 👌👌👌

I have a gas stove but I have not yet used it but I will 👌😎💪💪👍👍👍

I had half of it for breakfast and the rest as evening meal.

My apartment in Bangalore

 This is my apartment at Brigade Metropolis complex.

It has a combined hallway, living room and kitchen, so it is very spacious and open, this area has two ceiling fans.

Kitchen got a fridge with ice box, a water filtering tank, and I use it everyday and have not gotten sick from the water. There is also a washing machine, I am so happy about that, no worries about washing clothes or when. And a new microwave with grill, thumbs up from me :-) 

There is one bedroom with a large bed, a couple can easily sleep there, room got a ceiling fan and also an air conditioner unit(not used yet, but it works). Bed is rock hard but I do not have any issues with that ... yet anyways as I am getting older perhaps it will be an issue later :-)

There are actually two balconies as well. One is with surrounding glass (glass balcony?) and one that has a net keeping out the flying decease from pooping on it (read: doves, pigeons) 

 Bathroom is big with shower and no complains here, works fine.

I have rearranged the chairs and table, I will create a new post with updated apartment photos

I using this area now as 'office' in my spare time, kitchen table and chairs have been moved out here.

Fridge, microwave, water filtering tank, washing machine, gas cooking area, sink, food plates and cups, utensils(forks, spoons, knives, ...) included. There is also a grinder/smoothy machine.

Rockhard bed with a working desk including a chair, pretty OK nothing special.

The apartment needed a cleaning so I have done that even thou it already was cleaned. I am still cleaning it so it will be up to better standard as I want it. It will take some time as it grown in, it is of course not nasty or so it just needs more attention and some love. Amazon order on the way for keeping the floor dust free, it get dusty from the pollution outside.
