"Dead as a rat"

 Well, it is actually a dead rat, found on the stairs between 12th and 13th floor. 

Yes, but what is it doing this high up?

I have seen one other, at ground floor but that more likely living area for such a pest.

Hmm I live on 14th floor, I better make sure the door is closed.
